"When my marriage is harmonious, everything in my life seems to go much smoother."
I once read that we are never more emotional, upset or in pain than when our
primary relationship is threatened. I related to this right away.
As we've researched and built the2ofyou.com, we've heard couple after couple
concur. Nodding their heads enthusiastically, they would tell us with a raw
sincerity about their struggles, their successes, their counseling experiences,
or how they just wanted to connect better with each other.
Keeping the connection
It soon became apparent that "keeping the connection" spoke to people. That's
what has kept us going while developing the2ofyou, and we are proud now to
offer it to you. We're also humbled by the openness in which people shared
their innermost lives to help us get here.
So whether we just forget to connect, or we deliberately hold back waiting for
our partner to go first, or we get lazy, consumed, or too distant to remember
why we got together in the first place, when we lose the connection we often
need some help to get it back. I know this to be true because it happens to me.
Focus on the good
Yet books and therapy will only get you so far. To feel connected we have to
focus on the good in each other and our relationship. It is the positive,
poignant and fun everyday interactions that build the strength of your
relationship. The2ofyou.com has been designed to facilitate just that.
Connection is empowering. It is vital to both partners in a couple. When we
feel connected we can solve our problems, achieve our goals, and conquer the world.
So I invite you to sign up, try the2ofyou.com, connect, and send us your feedback.

"People instinctively desire a deeply loving relationship with a life partner."
Yet staying connected with a partner over time can be difficult. We understand why and how couples grow apart. Quite often, the reasons are to be expected and are a natural component of a committed relationship.
With this in mind, the goals of the2ofyou are:
- to help you and your partner interact effectively as a couple,
- to see each other as a positive resource,
- to be each others best friend and best possible source of inspiration and positive feeling.
These are critical parts of a healthy, happy relationship. Strengthening and growing this positive feeling is the core the2ofyou.
Designed to Help you Reconnect
Action is fundamental to the2ofyou approach. The2ofyou is not just about learning a concept or an idea – you actually have to do things with each other. "Interactive behavior change," we call this. All of our concepts, exercises and programs are clinically based and have been proved to improve relationships when applied on a consistent basis. The2ofyou enhances these time-tested elements with tools of modern technology to make strengtheining your relationship easy, accessible, interactive, fun, and private – between the two ofyou.
Positive and Abundance-Based
When we feel better, we act better and we feel connected. The2ofyou's positive, "abundance-based" approach is how we help you cultivate the love you want. We want you and your partner to be deeply connected — to receive from each other what you need to be the best mate you can. The2ofyou aims to help you feel positive and good from the beginning. We dont want to focus first on problems; they will be addressed more easily when you are feeling better and more connected as a couple. In fact, when you feel connected, many will just solve themselves.
Ive been helping couples for over 30 years. I've learned that establishing or reestablishing each other as a positive resource is a huge part of feeling positive about your relationship. Being able to know what to do, and then regularly applying the principles, is the remainder of the challenge.
I believe we have created a highly accessible, affordable and effective relationship tool that can help you succeed in these challenges. Please give it a try and see for yourself.
The2ofyou has lots of interactive content and tools to make connecting and reconnecting with your partner easy and fun.
